Shefali & John-Paul | Clos LaChance Winery Wedding
Shefali and J-P's wedding was amazing. Okay, that is already a huge understatement, but the energy was so high from the very beginning to the end. Good energy and human interaction, for me as a documentary wedding photographer, is what makes a wedding day so pleasant to capture. Spirits were high, and add that in with Shef and J-P's already amazing chemistry, and we've got a recipe for amazing images.
Bonus highlights of the day - The Bharat ceremony entrance included a bagpiper (for J-P's Scottish roots), J-P and his groomsmen had to dance to Single Ladies to earn his shoes back (Joota Chupai), and the crazy dancing at the reception!
See Shef and J-P's wedding portraits in my previous blog post here!
Enjoy!

Shefali & J-P | Wedding Portraits
I've decided to start separating my weddings into two separate blog posts - one dedicated to just the portraits, and one dedicated to the entirety of the day told through my documentary photography style. I've already done this through my website, since though I approach the day with no intent of telling people what to do, where to stand, or staging moments, I still love shooting the bride and groom portraits. However, I let my clients choose how long they want to make these photos together.
Shefali & J-P chose to take advantage of the beautiful scenery around them at the Clos LaChance Winery in San Martin, CA. We had about 40 minutes together while J-P was in his Indian suit, and then after the ceremony they allotted about 20 minutes to get some photos with the sun setting after J-P changed into a regular suit.
