Week 30/52 Pariah

Still using that little meadow place I found a couple weeks ago :P It's such an awesome place to shoot!

Swing

29/52

This was a bit annoying to shoot. First off, the swing was pretty sketchy (as you can see the duct tape on it!) and it was at least about four feet off the ground. It was really tricky to get on it and hard to stay on it!
Second, once I got on, the swing started swaying back and forth relentlessly. I had to sit as still as I could for a couple minutes to try to get it to stay so I would stay in focus. Even worse, some random guy walked by all this!

I would hop on, suffer a few scrapes from wrapping the rope around my arm to get up, take a bunch of shots, hop off, and review the images. I got on and off about three times until I finally felt like I had something to work with.

Also, I have exciting news! I got hired to shoot my first wedding in late August - I am so excited! :)

Half of My Heart

Week 28/52

Half of my heart's got a grip on the situation
Half of my heart takes time
Half of my heart's got the right mind to tell you that I can't keep loving you
I can't keep loving you
With half of my heart

But I can't stop loving you
I can't stop loving you
With half of my heart

I can't believe I never really found this amazing location. It's at the edge of Isla Vista, so not many people go by it so they won't have to watch me awkwardly shoot selfies, haha. Besides the tall grasses that I'm sure will give me some sort of rash or bug bites, I will definitely be revisiting this place to take more of my 52 weeks.

Quick Beach Shoot with Flora

Flora and I had another quick, lovely shoot at the beach so she could have some nice portraits for her music promotions and performances. She is such a breeze to work with and such a natural at posing! :)

Trish Wild, Equine Nomad

Tyler and I went down to Goleta beach to shoot a bit of the pier and the sunset. We saw a woman riding with a couple horses, Trish Wild, and she asked for a couple pictures of her and her horses and gave us her business card. I do believe this was the first time I pet a horse! :D

In other news, I need updated business cards and a website!!
